Care for the Poor

It's been a half year working as a child care staff for children with disabilities in a group home setting where it made me realize that the people we ignore the most are the people way more important than the precious things in this world. It should be our ultimate desire to stand out and do something for the weak and dependent people particularly who are unable to perform a task due to lack of competence physically and mentally.

We are very fortunate and grateful enough to our Lord Jesus Christ that we are able to do the things we wanted to do. But sad to say that not all of us have a big heart who always there for these people or children in specific to be taken cared of. I'm not only talking about people with impairment but also to those poor, hungry and homeless people.

I saw this one video from the internet about kids in the third world country who has nothing to eat, wear and stay. It really broke my heart to think that some of us are wasting of food. Last year's study shows that we throw out a quarter of our food. We waste food while others are starving. This is so terrible!

Let's act now without delay. Now is the time to take part as a volunteer or give donations to these poor countries. It's either to invest your time or money to save life.
